Virga Studio Group is calling for artists.

The Virga Studio Group is forging a different path. Many artist studios offer studio space for artists to work, charging monthly rental and utilities. Sometimes the artists form closer bonds, and sometimes not.

Our Virga Studio Group offers an intellectual meeting ground to discuss the wider concepts behind our work. It is a place to grapple with ideas, theories, and philosophies that support the development of new work. It is a place to connect with artists who are serious about going deeper into their work, asking questions of it and of themselves. Our studio group is online, which means you can join in wherever you are.

For £35 a month, or the equivalent currency exchange, you can benefit from meaningful discourse on art theory and philosophical ideas that impact the production of art. You will benefit from guest speakers, exhibition opportunities, critiques, group reading and discussion, and importantly, the space to ask the questions that will help you to develop your work. If you are feeling stuck, isolated, or invisible, then this studio group is for you. Think of our monthly fee as a ‘development utility’!
