Welcome to our new studio group of artists at Virga Gallery!

We are a different kind of studio group. Most studios exist to support artists with space to do their work. We support artists to deepen their practice through critical discourse. We believe understanding the theoretical, philosophical, and social lived experience is as important to the creation of art as the space to do it in.

For £35 a month, or currency equivalent, Virga Studio Group offers a rich programme of engagement including:

• reading and discussion groups
• opportunities to participate in our online exhibition programme
• online open studio and salon events for professional meetings
