The Fold exhibition is now live at Virga Gallery!

The long anticipated event is here! We are so pleased to present The Fold in our Gallery I.

There has been a fascinating fold of presentation happen between a PowerPoint presentation of the exhibition at the private view last night, the launch of the online exhibition today, and a social media post on Instagram. For each iteration the specific digital space has initiated a different encounter with the artwork.

This has been an unexpected insight into what could be possible with the development of online exhibitions — they don’t have to simulate space, they don’t have to be flat, they can move and flow in a tempo they generate in time with the viewer.
